Having trouble with the application?
Please try the following troubleshooting tips first, then email our team to let us know if you are still encountering any errors:
- If you are encountering copy/paste and word/character errors, please remember, not all software counts data the same. In fact, copying from one program to another may copy unseen formatting, causing the pasted text to be more than just text.
- One of the surest ways to have plain text is to copy your text into Notepad, then copy and paste it into the application. Notepad strips text of any formatting beyond paragraphs, spaces, and tabs.
- Don’t forget, spaces, tabs, line breaks, and punctuation count as characters!
- If you are off-campus, it could be network-related. First, try connecting your device to a campus network, with a wired connection preferable to a wireless connection.
- Try switching browsers. Often, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome work the best, as opposed to Microsoft Internet Explorer or Edge, Apple Safari, or smartphone browsers.
- If your computer or browser says you have updates that need to be installed, make sure your software is current, as this may help.
- Still no luck? Find a Loyola desktop computer, such as those in computer labs or the IC, and you should have necessary access.
- Still having problems on Loyola's computers? Well, it must be on our end, so please send us an email and we will look into what is causing difficulty! Thanks for trying and getting all the way to this step!
